Craig Goodall
PGA Golf Professional
I'm an experienced Golf Professional coaching on the Sunshine Coast
I provide coaching for all ages and abilities and have particular expertise in delivering school based golf programs, often in conjuction with school teaching staff.
I also run group programs for juniors, beginners and experienced golfers.
My teaching philosophy aims to improve my clients' golf game by enhancing each individual's understanding of their own golf swing and providing practical stratagies to practise after each lesson.
My career as a golf professional began when I commenced my traineeship in 1996. At the completion of this 3 year traineeship I was awarded the highest trainee honour of Australian PGA Trainee of the Year.
Towards the end of 1998 I started playing tournaments full time on the Australasian PGA Tour as well as the Queensland and New South Wales Pro - Am circuits. I was awarded Queensland Rookie of the Year in 1999, and in 2000 was awarded Queenslands Most Improved Player.
After playing full time from 1998 till 2003, I decided to move to the United Kingdom were I took up a coaching position at Hoebridge Golf centre (in Surrey) then moved to Sutton Green Golf Club as the Assistant Professional. Whilst in the UK, I was able to play tournaments with the highlight being Final Qualifying for the British Open.
After my return to Australia in 2005, I took up the position as Golf Professional at Sandgate Golf Club and also conducted coaching at Nudgee College Golf Club.
For the past 9 years I have been sharing my golf coaching expertise with current Golf Professional Trainees as part of their education in golf coaching.
I run regular coaching programs for adults and juniors, i hope to see you at one soon.
